Unable to connect to mobile data or no SIM card is displayed

Connectivity issues are typically caused by a variety of reasons when traveling abroad.

You may experience the following after inserting your SIM card into the device.

  • The phone displays only the carrier name, such as “CHN-UNICOM,” but does not display 4G, LTE, or 5G.
  • “No SIM card” is displayed on your phone.

If you experience either of the above two situations, please make sure that you meet the following usage requirements.

  • Make sure your SIM card is activated — you will receive a confirmation email when the SIM card is activated.
  • Ensure your device is unlocked — our SIM cards can’t be used on locked devices.
